The Sifton Bog on the Blog
Yesterday was so warm (75F) and sunny Wendy and I decided to drive over to the Sifton Bog to experience Spring.
With all the rain we've had lately the bog was bursting with greenery and life.

Spring Cleanup and Pool Opening
Everything has been late this year as far as our outdoor chores are
concerned. The weather just has not co-operated. This has reduced my
usual blog entries for April and May since we just have had no outdoor
projects.
Yesterday, 8AM I was over at Kensal Rentals to pick up a pressure washer and we spent all day washing everything in sight. I think in the future I'll get the next size larger. This one didn't do much more than an electric.
Our son Tim worked almost continuously for nearly the whole 6 hour rental.
Rather than risk the ladder, we rigged up the wand to the end of a pool pole to clean the second story eaves. It worked fine.
Turn down your sound, the engine of the washer is loud.
All the work was well worth the effort. Everything looked great by the afternoon and the pool was already clearing up faster than ever.
A baby bunny came by to help.
The little critter seemed to really enjoy the weed sprouts in the patio stones.
