The above six images of beautiful old sailing ships were generated in about three minutes. Click on the pic to enlarge it and view the wonderful detail. It would take a human artist many hours to accomplish completion of even one of these. Now look below:

My son Tim asked me: "If you were a young man trying to decide his future direction in life, even if you had a talent for art, would you choose graphic arts or design in art college?" How could we humans ever compete when anyone can simply type text commands (into a computer) and have instant artwork delivered to our screens in seconds?

Wendy and I made one of our rare ventures out, to Costco for some much needed supplies and change of scenery. Since COVID started we have been ordering in most everything but there are just some things you have to buy in person and who can resist Costco, right?.
We are all in a very dangerous situation right now...
Another Ai generated image. What strange image will come out of the computer next?We asked Tim's powerful Ai computer for: cyberpunk la joconde by mobius cityscape trending artstation steampunk plumbing orbiting spacestation (1_40_7.5)
This is what it spit out in a few seconds. NOTE: These are not just searched images. The computer actually created them while we waited a few seconds. No one has ever seen them before!
When we asked about flying cars, it showed us the above...
And when we asked for the most beautiful place on earth it gave us 6 choices but it didn't say where they were. Do you know?

The world is changing faster than we can imagine. Artificial Intelligence will soon overtake humans in many tasks previously considered impossible. Art, music, movies... all will be replaced by machines. Never thought I'd see it!
For the very first time ever, I've used a picture that was completely generated by Artificial Intelligence. This pic has never been seen before by any human. It was generated in less than 30 seconds using my son Tim's powerful computer that was programmed, or trained to compose artwork without human intervention. The computer was told to make an image in the style of H.R. Griger, Dorothea Lang and Norman Rockwell. My only human input was to come up with a joke caption and put a border around the pic. Amazing, don't you think?
This is the 'prompt' I used to generate the picture in a matter of seconds: poor and drunk street-person opium poverty booze drugs needles a sad painting by hr griger dorothea lang norman rockwell.(2_50_7.5)447e656ae945a500

Just got stung by one little yellow jacket around 2:30 pm. I was sitting outside and he must have landed on my shirt. I lowered my arm and must have trapped him. He got away. Little bug...ger!
While cleaning out an old cedar chest in the basement, Wendy came across these:
They are probably at least 40- 45 years old and appear to be in new condition. The old Sea Pig logo looks to be done by hand since the two are not identical. I don't remember wearing one. The shirts are medium (38-40) and large (42 -44). You can see more old pictures of the Sea Pig if you CLICK HERE.

By the end of the summer our red umbrella covers were looking very tired and sun-washed. Red is the worst colour for fading. I ordered new ones from Amazon but I was hoping to save them for next season.
