One of our favorite places is the Fanshawe Pioneer Village on the outskirts of London, Ontario. We often come here to see our friends from Orillia, Pete and Donna perform their War of 1812 reenactments. Today the ceremonies were not at all acrimonious as we were invited to a lovely wedding ceremony for Christine and Mark in this picturesque and peaceful setting. Although very hot and humid, the rain stayed away all day and the overcast sky allowed good, shadowless photos. (More to follow - check back)
Later that evening, the bride and groom's parents hosted a lovely reception at the Delta Armouries Hotel downtown. The groom's great-uncle Bill (77) is a real character and sure can kick it up as you can see in this video. His dance partner Cindy is no slouch either.
