Wendy examined every tree, checking for damaged branches, curved trunks and correct pruning technique.
This year we decided on a more compact tree. After cutting an inch or so off the trunk to facilitate water uptake, it was duly hung from the hook in the living-room ceiling and water added to the pail.

Cats love Christmas! Benz supervised the whole procedure. Wendy began to work her magic decorating the tree.
