My "artsy" poster pic for today:
The Thirties was an interesting time for art and kitsch. I love the Deco theme reflected in everything; art, architecture, transportation, and household appliances. I had fun with this composition of a Philco, "Cathedral" radio and the interior of the Cincinnati train station. Back when radio was king and and the world we live in now was only science fiction.
Built in 1933, the Cinci station is a stunning landmark visible for miles as you drive by Cincinnati on I75.
It always reminded me of an antique radio.
