Cold Winter Day In Blue Water Country

On Friday we drove to Port Huron Michigan to pick up some mail parcels. Of course a little shopping and some sight seeing was in order too.

The scene from the American side of the St Clair River was quite spectacular with the sun shining in a pure blue sky. The temperature was well below zero so the steam from chemical valley painted white against the sky.


Back in Sarnia on the Canadian side of the river we were lucky to see the tug boat Pride crunch its way into the harbour and with its huge engines, blast the ice away from where it was mooring. Watch my movie full screen for max effect.

It's not hard to find fantastic photo ops around Sarnia.

Later we had the "World's Best" Prime Rib at Wagg's Restaurant in Sarnia. Wendy and I started off with their amazing Caesar (with a whole salad on a skewer).
 

The most tender (cut with a fork)  huge "Super Cut" prime rib roast cut can only be found at Wagg's Restaurant. If you love prime rib, this is one of the best places on Earth to get some.
