Last time we were in St Lucia I took this picture from the cruise ship as we anchored near the Pitons waiting for passengers to return from excursions. These local entrepreneurs came out in their colourful boats from nearby Soufriere to entertain and solicit money, apples or anything we might throw their way. Our Captain, speaking on the PA system, strongly warned us against encouraging them.
