Well, the good news is the worldwide number of those infected climbed but did not quite double this week so that's a hopeful sign. Still it is approaching 2 million and the North American numbers continue upwards at a fierce rate. USA now has well over 500,000 cases. I don't think we are anywhere near out of the woods yet, but governments are getting desperate to get their economies going again before there is irreparable damage.

US leads the world as usual but not in a good way this time! It's unthinkable that we would even contemplate letting up on our social distancing while the curve is still advancing and showing no real sign of cresting. Even then, if we let up we could see an even worse 'second wave'. Please everybody, stay at home unless it is absolutely urgent that you go out!

Well over 100,000 deaths worldwide with USA right out in front. Notice at nearly 40 days all the countries except China are still in a steep upward mode. Horrible!
