There was 260 people at the wedding and more than half were Italian or Italian decent. The wedding ceremony was at
Grace United Church in Brampton and the reception was at the
Da Vinci Banquet Hall in Woodbridge. The array of tantalizing food and treats at the banquet hall was like nothing I have ever seen before. A cruise ship buffet would pale by comparison.
The wedding ceremony bagan at 1 pm but the reception was at 5:30 so some of us went over to David and Reenie's home in Brampton. The Di Vincci party started with a reception line, open bar and antipasta. Later the dinner was served and music, speeches and dancing followed. At around 11:30 pm an entire new spread was laid out in the lobby complete with a whole rotisserie pig and every kind of dessert conceivable. What a wedding!
