Day 08 Grenada, The Spice Island.

We came to this beautiful Island last year on the Grand Princess. Wendy still has the spice necklace hanging by or kitchen window.

"I guess you'll have to sit on my lap." "No problem!"
Barry is turning darker by the day. People are now thinking he is a local.

Dorset (the owner of the Lazy Days Bar) chats with Barry. You may remember we spent some
time here last year when we came to Grenada on the Grand Princess last year.
Dorset,  has won money in Canada, not once, not twice, but three times. The first time he won a lottery prize of $50,000.00 and he put a down payment on a house in Windsor.  Later, he won two more prizes, $50,000.00 and $300,000.00 (in a slot machine jackpot) all tax free. The latter amount he divided amongst his children. No wonder he loves Canada! He put his daughter through law school and she works for a prominent law firm in London (Lerner and Lerner).  He lived and worked 15 years in Windsor and commuted to Montreal by car almost every weekend.  A few years ago he moved back to Grenada and opened his beach bar.  His daughter continues to commute from Windsor to London (2 hr each way).
