Our good friends Gary and Ann, you'll recall, have a beautiful home in Crossville Tennessee. Ann has a room upstairs devoted to Coca Cola memorabilia. When we saw them in Florida a few weeks ago, I presented them with a large 24 x 36 poster of an old store and a large crossroad sign that, it turns out, is somewhat of a local monument. Apparently the sign (or a replica, I'm not sure) still exists on the front lawn of the Cumberland County Courthouse about 74 years later.

I recently found this write-up in Wikipedia. You can see that the original black and white photograph shows the same sign-post nearly 75 years later.
There's the sign on the lawn beside the courthouse.
