Day 13 At Sea,

Sea days at the last part of the cruise are so relaxing. A day at sea traveling from Aruba a past Haiti.

We met Sam from Kitchener ( a retired Jazz airline pilot) who promised to send some pictures of flying fish captured with his long lens camera.

In honor of Cheryl's husband John there was escargot (his favorite) on the menu for John and Cheryl's wedding anniversary.  John could not be with us because of work obligations.

This last formal night also featured the captain's Farewell Dinner with surf and turf ( beef fillet and lobster).

The two sisters Donna and Laura join us for Anniversary cake and the wait staff serenaded us and with a traditional Polynesian celebratory song.

Click on the arrow in this picture to play the movie. It would appear they use the same song for birthdays and anniversaries since we have heard it many times on other cruises for many occasions. Tonight it was for Cheryl on the night of her 25th wedding anniversary. Too bad John couldn't be with us on the cruise.
