A snowy start from our home in London but a check of Southwest's website shows our flight tomorrow is a GO. I wish it would stop snowing in Buffalo. They could cancel the flight at any time if it keeps up, but the forecast is good for Thursday. I printed the boarding passes.
The Millenium Hotel had no special deals this time so we decided to book the Days Hotel at Buffalo Airport so we could get an early start to the day. We need to be at the airport by 4:45 am for our 5:45 departure on Southwest flight 354.
This puts us into Florida a little early at around 9 am but by the time we get our luggage and a cab to the port it will be nearly time to embark anyway.
Unbelievably the storm has shriveled down to Buffalo ONLY! Go figure.
They are starting to clear the snow off the runways. Hurry hurry!
The first of many planes are beginning to arrive and depart. Whew!
Attached to the Days Hotel is the Landings Bar and Restaurant
A tradition with me is to share a large order of Buffalo chicken wings the night before our departure. After all it was here that they invented this, my favourite bar food and it would be unlikely I'd find Buffalo wings in the Caribbean. The beer was 6 for $15. Off to bed early as our alarm set for 3:30 am would come quickly.
